InfodemiLab was initiated with the project titled "Understanding the Spread of Misinformation in Turkey in the Context of Covid-19 from the Perspective of Media Users and Developing Preventive Action Suggestions" supported by TÜBİTAK between 2020 and 2021. Since 2022, it has been continuing its activities to prevent the spread of misinformation by focusing on "political news" and the media.
