This concept note discusses the complex nature of information disorders and the three main approaches we have taken to address them. The project views information disorders as a problem of human security, a violation of human rights and a constraint on capabilities. The note provides details on the interventions planned to address this problem. It also explains how the “Bioecological Model” provides a framework for these interventions.
This concept note has been finalized with the valuable contributions of experts working on information disorders in different disciplines who participated in the virtual roundtable meeting held on October 2, 2024. As RESAID team, we would like to thank all participants for their contributions.
