Website

An open source website will be created. By sharing academic studies, national and international projects and reports, podcasts, videocasts, and short videos on the subject,  the project aims to spread knowledge in this field.

Workshops

Workshops will be organized with the participation of representatives from the media, civil society organizations, bureaucracy and the military. Workshops will be organized to share experiences and information on information disorders with similar policy-making groups such as the EU, NATO, etc., and then workshops will be organized with representatives from different perspectives on information disorders.

Concept Paper

Based on roundtable discussion, concept note encapsulates conceptual and theoretical approaches to information irregularities. It also provides researchers with a broad framework for the clarification of conceptual dissonance in the information disorders literature.

Policy Papers

Policy papers aim to contain a general theoretical approach and current situation with experiences and recommendations from different fields such as academia, media, and civil society organizations.

Winter School

A winter school with six lectures and two workshops over four days will be organized in Istanbul. The lectures at the winter school will address types of information disorders, methods to reduce information disorders, efforts of international and supranational organizations to reduce information disorders, and tools to reduce information disorders.

International Academic Conference

By bringing together international experts from different disciplines on the topic of information disorder, it is aimed to create a network among academics and to address the issue from different dimensions. The proceedings of the academic conference will be published in English.

Curriculum Development

As an output of the International Academic Conference, an open book in English will be published and a curriculum will be prepared.

Open Education Course (MOOC)

A publicly accessible open education course (MOOC) will be created. It will be designed based on the lessons learned and discussed in the winter school, and participants will receive an official signed certificate from Istanbul Bilgi University.

Online Games

Three online games will be created on the website that will allow participants to interact and provide information on the issue of information disorder.

An open source book with ten chapters covering different perspectives and approaches on information disorders will be prepared as a guide.

Short videos, podcasts, videocasts and a newsletter will be shared regularly to raise awareness on information disorders.
